Pictures I have ‘submitted’ into the 52 wk challenge on Facebook. A just for fun page.

52 Week Photo Challenge

Last weeks challenge picture was Urbex.  I took a couple of pictures, nothing compared to some that popped up on the wall, but a little something.

somewhere on the street, in Hobart, (Tas, Aust)

retail building that was here burnt down - now just an empty space.

This week’s challenge was ‘Comforting things’.
There are lots of things I find comforting… but these two would be near the top for sure.
Sitting under a tree in summer, it reminds me of my childhood and all the fun I had.

Soft grass & a shady space under big leafy tree - bliss.

Home - what more do I need to say.

Keep smiling 🙂

You choose the topic…

This week, next week, and the week after… as long at it takes I spose.

I wont say I’ve run out of ideas, not at all, but I like a challenge.  So what you would like me to talk about.  Put my opinion to.  Go on.. stretch my mind,  get me outside the box.

Give me a subject, reasonably precise please, and I’ll do a post on it.  Is there something you want to know about me?  Be as controversial as you like.  I will try to do justice to each one.  Not much is off-limits, but I reserve the right to say no (I hope I don’t have to do that).

I don’t just want a subject like, Animals.  That’s too general.  More along the lines of  ‘What are your favourites’,  ‘are you a dog or cat person’.  That sort of thing.

I can mumble away to myself composing while I sew bags, make jewellery, do housework and deal with kids.  A post a day (where possible) for as many topics as comes my way.

Keep smiling 🙂

Picture catch up…

I have missed posting my 52 week pic challenge for a few weeks so here are the last 3…

week 6 – composed still life.

I took a pic of all my vases in the hallway and then played with the canon program to add some interest.

Vases with tweaking..

week 7 – machinery.

I hunted out an old pic of a relic in dad’s ‘graveyard’ and posted.

Rusty Relic

week 8 – animals

Despite living in the country there are not so many animals just wandering around and I really wasn’t going to take a picture of the many road kill that are laying about stinking.  On Wednesday evening we went to visit some friends and then headed to the Wharf for a fish and chips dinner.  And I caught two seagulls in flight… while just admiring the view (luxury boats of one sort or another…)

Seagulls in Flight, Hobart.

Keep smiling 🙂

52 week challenge…

this weeks photo challenge was “tools”.  How we interpreted that was up to us, and there have been some interesting pictures posted.

My entry incorporates my ipod as a ‘tool’ – without certain tools, one cannot work properly…

my tools (some of them anyway) + the music tool.

Til next weeks photo, keep smiling 🙂

52 week photo challenge

As promised in an earlier post I will show you my pictures for the photo challenge.

Week 2 was our favourite thing… I have too many but a friend suggested to post something that I can’t live without… so the picture was…

my favourite thing? Coffee of course... 🙂

Week 3 was a disaster for me.  time Exposure.  Some people made some humourous pictures of clocks and the like but I actually wanted to try to do a proper time exposure picture.

Week 4 is FOOD week.  Now food I can do.  Took a picture of my breakfast the other day, half eaten boiled egg, toast and a coffee but wasn’t overly impressed.  Today’s lunch proved much more photogenic….

Food for thought maybe...

I haven’t looked at next weeks challenge, we’ll have to wait til Monday morning to find out.

Til next time, keep smiling 🙂

Ciao, Jennifer
