Dark Mofo
The family minus the one who was working took a trip into the city last night to check out the Dark Mofo excitement. We didn’t enter the Winterfeast section but trekked about on the waterfront. Head over here to see more pictures. Next year we need to be way more organised and do more of the activities.

Oh! There was a thing on TV last night about the winter solstice skinny dip? They said it was part of Dark Mofo. lol I think I like the pretty lights better than a freezing dip!

Ha, yeah the winter solstice nude swim. It’s huge, as in really popular. Lord knows why. It happened last year amid much discussion, controversy and “oh the horror, people swimming in their birthday suits…keep the kids away, blah blah blah”
While not my thing, I really don’t care if that’s what rows your not, specially given a good friend of mine applied to do it.
And yes, I agree, the lights and activities are much better suited to me than swimming nude, with lots of other people.

lol – the ABC showed some distance, blurred out pink bodies – kind of funny, but only when seen from the comfort of a nice warm house!
