Food Friday – a 10yr olds sleepeover!

There are 3 extra 9 & 10 year old in my house tonight, and unlike their older counterparts (15+ yrs old) they have way too much energy still, and the pitch of their voices is still at the unbearable point when they get over excited.
But I did promise a sleep over the Mr 10, and I set the limit at 3 – there’s only so much you’re really going to put yourself through, and I only have room for 3 in sleeping arrangements – which is more than enough.

As is the way he got to dictate what was done for dinner, even though we had Pizza Hut for his actual birthday.
Sausage rolls and Pavlova, and Fairy bread. Yep, he wanted fairy bread.
Poor fairies, I had to buy more and then they were demolished is about 2 seconds flat. I never knew 10 year old boys still like sprinkles on bread.

All is good, except for me having to chase them out of Mr 15’s room. Β And I’m about to be the fun police and confine them to the bedroom. (Coz I want to chill out and read a book in bed)
And because it’s easier I’ll post a slideshow like last time.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

I’d say time to go have a wine, but it’s way past that time for me, and I’ve done my coffee. Β I’ll do my nails first I think, then it’s bed and a book for me.
Have a great weekend πŸ™‚

What a great mom you are! I applaud your cooking skills! Everything you showcase always make my mouth water!

  2. You always amaze me with your cooking skills! Jen, what’s Pavlova? The Fairy Bread looks good too.

3 of them is definitely a lot!
