Boys, baking and markets…

Yep, it’s that time again. Market day tomorrow. And my two youngest (two eldest, two youngest, and #2 always gets included, lol) have been busy baking helping me with their goodies for the table.  Some making, but mostly I seem to have done the bulk, well, with #3 anyway.

First up from son # 2 we have a trio of Jelly Cups, complete with Jelly Babies unfortunately for them they have sunk to the depths of the pond.. 😦 .

yuuum, jelly cups. Light and refreshing.

From son #3,  Caramel Popcorn… theses are seriously addictive and I think I may be making more of them sometime soon.  Although there are many recipes for these, the one I found is pretty easy.  I’ll be putting the recipe on the dedicated food page very soon.  We had a disaster with the chocolate drizzle as not one, but two piping bags broke and great gloops of yummy melted chocolate plopped out … oops, we just had to eat one or two of those.

the dregs in the bowl after I just had to nibble on some left overs.. really, not enough patty pans.

and the finished product... ready to be devoured 🙂

A third little treat I decided on (with profits to be divided) are chocolate croissants. Easy peasy these ones, and yummy to boot.  Mix hazelnut spread (nutella) with grated choc and nuts, spread on pastry triangles, roll up and bake.
The recipe will be heading to the page up there ^^ aswell.

looking, well, not so good. but ready to bake.

now that's better. Lookin' good, and yes, very tasty. There was an odd number, I had to test them out. 😉

a whole bowl full 🙂

So lots of food, and let’s hope lots of customers.

Keep smiling 🙂
Jennifer
