Heading North

After a minor delay we eventually headed north about 1pm.  A short diversion to the historic town of Richmond (the oldest bridge in Australia), then hit the highway to Oatlands – with the Windmill – Ross (more bridge), through Evandale, the place of Lavendar, Penny Farthing Races and (I’m assuming) the home of Glover, the originator of a Prestigious Landscape Art Award.

Into Launceston, we find a motel, head out to a fab pub where Angus burgers and a great Rump steak were on the menu. Yum!

Then it was chillin’ out and eating TimTams.
Tomorrow night will be with my sister (the one on the dairy farm).

A picture post will be added in the near future. There are many to choose from.

Keep smiling, we’re happy 🙂
